<p>The key to losing weight and keeping it off through a healthy diet is to eat more food. Yep, that is exactly the info that I was referring to in the beginning of this article. This is the mind blowing information that I am going to talk about with you today. And that is, in order to lose weight in an effective manner and keep it off you will need to eat more food and incorporate more frequent meals into your diet. However, it isn&#8217;t as simple as this hence why I am creating an entire article around the subject.</p>
<p>As the title of this article suggests, you cannot go long without eating food (in other words a meal) if you want to lose weight. Hold on a second, let me take this concept one step further. <strong>If you take long breaks throughout the day between your meals then you are actually going to limit your weight loss potential or even totally reverse your weight loss efforts. </strong>Yes, you read that correctly. Eating less frequently and less food in general is <em><strong>NOT </strong></em>the way to go if you want to lose weight.</p>

<p>One of the main reasons why eating more often equals better weight loss results for you is because it keeps you from binging. You know what I mean; the times when you haven&#8217;t eaten anything for a whole day and totally pig out when you finally get your hands on some food. This really isn&#8217;t the way to do things if you want to lose weight much less maintain a healthy lifestyle. First off, when you binge eat you are most likely going to be eating foods that are ridiculously unhealthy. Why? Because when you are extremely hungry you are going to want to eat foods that you imagine to be delicious. And secondly, eating and centering your eating habits around abnormally large meals is very unhealthy in of itself.</p>
<p>Another important reason why going long periods of time without eating any food is bad for weight loss is because it actually slows your metabolism down. You see, if you are constantly stretching your meals out then your body is going to adjust. And by adjust, I mean slow down your metabolism. If you know anything about successful weight loss then you know metabolism plays a major role. Eating smaller and more frequent meals is going to leave you feeling fuller and more energized and it is also going to keep your metabolism at a constant and steady rate. This is a very good thing if you are trying to lose weight.</p>
<h2>Just Eat More&#8230;OK?</h2>
<p>Overall, just try to eat smaller and more frequent meals throughout the day. It is going to leave you feeling a lot better and it will make the weight loss process a whole lot easier in the long run. In fact, it is going to make losing weight through dieting a lot smoother in the short term as well.</p>
<p>But remember, just because you are eating more frequent meals and eating food more often in general does not mean that you can go and eat crappy foods. <strong>The key to successful weight loss through a healthy diet is eating smaller portions more frequently that are made up of healthy foods.</strong></p>
