The thing that gets most people when it comes to exercise is that it is extremely boring and monotonous. Or better yet, for those that despise exercise this is usually how they view the act of working out. Here’s a news flash: exercise can actually be a fun activity if you’re willing to make it one! It can be something as simple as throwing a frisbee around with some friends, or playing a pickup game of basketball, or even just shooting around by yourself.
But that’s the catch, you actually have to put forth some effort in order to make exercise something out of the ordinary if regular ol’ exercise doesn’t exactly float your boat. As they say, it is what you make of it. If you aren’t willing to stick to an exercise regime and aren’t willing to mix things up in order to make exercise something out of the ordinary then…well…you’ll probably be floating around in the sea of excuses from here on out.
I can’t account for your current circumstances or how demanding your lifestyle may be, but I know there’s a good chance that you could make exercise work for you if you were willing to put forth the effort. It might require a little bit of creativity and maneuvering on your part, but it’s possible all the same. I guess the message here is don’t give up on exercise as it’s worth it in the end. There’s no way around it.
